Mr. Schroeder, 68, died, surrounded by his family, at the Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie. He was born in Milwaukee, on May 17, 1937, the son of the late Edward and Margaret (nee: Preston) Schroeder. On August 20, 1960, in St. Edward Catholic church, Milwaukee, he was united in marriage to the former Rosita Pinzon. He was a registered pharmacist and worked at; St. Luke’s Hospital in Racine, owned and operated Town and Country Pharmacy in Sturtevant, and was presently working at the Aurora Health Care Canter in Kenosha. Mr. Schroeder was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Pleasant Prairie, and the F.A.C.A.. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and car racing, especially BMWs. He greatest enjoyment came from the time he spent with his grandchildren, especially Cody whom he cherished and raised. Surviving are his beloved wife of 45 years, Rosita; their children, Christina (Mike) Tresch, Scott (Dawn Montemurro) Schroeder, Tammy (Tony) Garza, and Samantha (Mark) Shultis; 11 grandchildren, Valerie, Cody, Kali, Zachary, Rianna, Vincent, Madison, T.J., Brandon, Steven, and Sydnie; his great grandson Ethan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Dr. Kenneth Schroeder. A Service of Remembrance will be held in the funeral home on Friday, November 25th, at 7:00 p.m..Visitation will be in the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the Service. There will be a Prayer Service in St. Anne Catholic Church, 9091 Prairie Ridge Blvd., Pleasant Prairie, on Saturday, November 26th, at 11:00 a.m.. Memorials have been suggested to Hospice Alliance.
