Mary DeAngelis, 87, died Saturday, February 24, 2007, in Hospitality Manor, Kenosha. She was born in Kenosha, WI on September 8, 1919, the daughter of the late Arthur and Carmela (nee: Constanti) Piccolo. Mrs. DeAngelis received her education in the schools of Kenosha, and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School. She was united in marriage to Louis DeAngelis who preceded her in death in October of 1977. She had been employed by American Motors for over 30 years retiring in 1975. She was a former member of the Assembly of God Church in Kenosha. Mrs. DeAngelis enjoyed cooking and solving crossword puzzles; her greatest love was her family and especially her grandchildren. Surviving are her daughters Rosemarie Hannes of Racine, JoAnn Caruso of Phoenix, AZ; daughter-in-law Patricia Barrett in Florida, her grandchildren, Peter (Lisa Michel) Hannes, Paul (Lanette Brown) Hannes all of Racine, Karole (Brad) Sellers of Kenosha, Keith (Tina) Saeger of Caledonia, Mark (Melissa) Saeger of Phoenix, AZ, Jeanne DeAngelis, Lisa (John) Viccaro all in Florida; great-grandchildren, Alexandra, Vanessa, Johnnie, Peter, Brittany, Michael, Brooke, Abigail, Broc, Carissa, Skylar, Zachary, Corey, Travis and Scottie; great-great-grandchildren, Dontae and Antonio; brothers and sisters, Arthur (Sue) Piccolo of Port Charlotte, FL, Alex (Marion) Piccolo, Mels (Dave) Willems, Rose (William) Birkholz all of Kenosha; brothers-in-law, Ray Tisdale and Carmen Bonacci both in FL; and her very special friend Patty Calverely. Her nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends further survive her. In addition to her parents and her husband Louis she was preceded in death by her son Louis “Butch” DeAngelis Jr., her sisters Yolanda “La La” Tisdale and Lena Bonacci Her visitation will be in the funeral home on Friday, March 2nd, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Her funeral service and entombment ceremony will be private. In lieu of flowers the family has suggested memorials to Columbia-St. Mary’s Hospital in Milwaukee.
