
Donald P. Roman, 54, died following complications of injuries received in a bicycle accident. He was born in Kenosha on August 20, 1952, the son of the late Alex and Evelyn (nee: Leszkowicz) Roman. Donald was a lifelong resident of Kenosha. He graduated from St. Casimir’s Elementary School, St. Joseph’s High Scholl and the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Donald had been employed by WLIP, Allen Bradley and the Unico Corp. . Donald enjoyed music and had played the saxophone in the John Bunic Big Band for numerous years. He also had a passion for reading, jogging, and working with computers. He was an avid bike rider and in his earlier years raced at the Washington Park Velodrome . He was known for his gardening talents, especially for his rose bushes. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 23rd, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 2224 – 30th Ave., with Rev. William Hayward MIC officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family, in the church, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Inurnment will follow in the family section of St. Casimir’s Cemetery.
