Dolores M. Spanske

Apr 1, 1929 – Feb 25, 2008

RACINE – Dolores M. Spanske, 78, passed away in Wheaton Franciscan All Saints on Monday, February 25, 2008. She was born in Racine on April 1, 1929, the daughter of the late Frank and Violet (nee: Kasken) Spanske Sr. Miss Spanske graduated from Washington Park High School. She worked at Modine Manufacturing for over 16 years and later at Walker Manufacturing, including 16 years as the secretary for the vice-president. Miss Spanske was a longtime member of Christ Church United Methodist. Surviving are her brothers, Frank (Dorothy) Spanske Jr., Donald (Delores) Spanske, Herbert Spanske all of Racine; special niece, Janet Guntly of Caledonia, other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A private funeral service was held in the funeral home on Monday, March 3, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Awilda Nolla officiated. Burial followed in West Lawn Memorial Park. The family suggested memorials to the American Diabetes Association.
