Frank S. Hechimovich

)– Frank S. Hechimovich Sr., 83, passed away at Select Specialty Hospital in West Allis on Saturday, March 6, 2010. He was born in Mayville, WI on January 16, 1927 the son of the late Robert and Rose (nee: Persha) Hechomvich Sr. Mr. Hechimovich served his country with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He had been employed by James Cape and Son for over 40 years until retiring in 1994. He was united to his wife Camille on May 15, 1999. Mr. Hechimovich was a former member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church until moving to Brownsville; there he joined St. Andrew Catholic Church in Leroy, WI. Mr. Hechimovich enjoyed deer hunting with his sons and working on any kind of engine. His greatest enjoyment came from the times he spent with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Camille; their children, LuAnn (Tim) Tully, Sharon Berardi, Frank (Genie) Hechimovich Jr., Glen (Sharon) Hechimovich, Todd Hechimovich, all of Racine, Jackie Schlitz, Brad (Shelly) Schlitz, all of Burlington, WI, Andrew (fiancée, Jari Clark) Schlitz, of Janesville, WI; 9 grandchildren, Amy, Kyle, Nicholas, Noah (fiancée, Heather), Brandon, Evan, Sadie, Danyelle, and Dana; 3 great-grandchildren, Taylor, Carter, and Addison, brothers and sisters-in-law, sisters and brothers-in-law, Audrey Hechimovich, of Horicon, WI, Daniel Hechimovich, John Hechimovich, Michael Hechimovich, all of Mayville, WI, Frances (Eugene) Laufenberg, of Iron Ridge, WI, Nick (Ethel) Hechimovich of Mayville, WI, Tom (Mary Ann) Hechimovich, of Fond du Lac, Mary (Dr. Wayne) Siegfried, of Beaver Dam, Aggie (Salty) Walter, Bob (Diane) Hechimovich Jr. all of Mayville. A host nieces, nephews, co-workers, other relatives, and friends further survive him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Walter Hechimovich. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 10:30 am in St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 3126-95th Street in Sturtevant, with Rev. Paul L. Raczynski officiating. Interment, with military honors, will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Thursday from 4-7 pm and in the church on Friday from 9:30 -10:30 am. The family has suggested memorials to either the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association

    We are so sorry to hear of Frank’s passing. We will remember his smile, laughter, jokes, and great sense of humor! He loved his children, and was a joy to be around.     Camille.So sorry about Frank,We did not know when the funeral was, I did not find the obit. until sunday,it was not coming up on my pc.Dennis & I thought very highly of Frank.There was only one Frank,and now the mold is broken.We will miss him,Jacky & Dennis
