Racine- Lewis Edward Gray, 76, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, May 9, 2011.
Lewis was born in Jackson, Mississippi on July 25, 1934 to the late Lewis E. and Margaret (nee: Milton) Gray. He lived in Racine for most of his life, working in the foundry at JI Case Co. until retiring in 1991.

Day and Klement (Ann) Knight; many special grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Kathy) Gray; other dear relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Lewis was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva (nee: Norton) Gray; daughter, Karen L. Gray; and brother, Clarence Gray.
A Homegoing Celebration will be held in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 11:00 am with Rev. Daryn David Crenshaw officiating. A reception will follow. Viewing will be in the funeral home on Thursday from 10-11 am.
