
Mr. Prince Williams, 61, passed away at Woodstock Healthcare Center in Kenosha, with his family at his side, on Friday, November 11, 2011.
Prince was born in Sidon, MS on April 14, 1950. He served his nation with the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War era.
Prince worked in many capacities but was known mostly for his work as a tax return specialist. He helped many people in the community over the years by preparing their tax returns. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, playing softball, umping and refereeing in local leagues, playing dominoes, barbequing and being in the company of his family.
His survivors include his mother, Florida Booker; his loving wife, Minnie Johnson of Racine; his children, Prince Williams of Germany, Kimberly McClain, Anthony Turner, Sr., Desiree McClain, Julie McClain, Michelle (Mark) Pore, Shawnte Williams and Princess Williams all of Racine; 21 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Jeanette (Alfonzo) Johnson, Peggy (Alfred) Williams, Marilyn Booker, Christine Booker; brothers, Robert (Peggy) Williams, Antovia Booker, Jason (Lisha) Booker; brother-in-law, Horace Cole; uncle, Henry Lee Grays; as well as many nieces, nephews and other dear family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Eddie Booker; his son, Jerry McClain; his grandchildren, Jonathan Watson and Shakitha Turner; his sisters, Maxine Cole and Janet Cooper and his aunt, Lillie Mae Allen.
Family and friends are invited to meet at the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. for the celebration of Prince’s life and home going with Pastor A.W. Scaife officiating. There will be a visitation in the funeral home on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. His interment will take place on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.
