
Racine – Frank E. Love “Papa Love”, 69, entered into eternal life at his residence after a terminal illness on Sunday, December 21, 2014. Frank was born on January 14, 1945 in Alamo Tennessee to Ms. Annie Pearl Love and Mr. Colvin Nunn. At the age of six, Frank was relocated to Racine Wisconsin. Frank accepted Christ at an early age. He attended Garfield Elementary, Franklin Junior High and Park High schools. Frank began his service in the United States Air Force in 1962 and was honorably discharged in 1966. Frank worked at the South Side Revitalization Inc., Jacobson Mfg, Western Publishing, Quad Graphics, Johnson Wax, and Wheaton Franciscan Hospital. Frank enjoyed life and children.
Frank leaves behind to cherish his loving memories, his father Colvin Nunn of Racine; two sons, Johnny Love of California, Franciscus Love of Racine; four daughters, Kimberly Love, Stacy Love, Kelly J. (Alfy) McGee, and Chloe Love; one step daughter, Banche E. Booker all of Racine; four sisters, Ann Doss, and Mae Nunn of Racine, Sarah (James) Yancy of Mury City, Tennessee, and Chermain (Herman) Minor of Jackson, Mississippi; eight brothers, John (Jewel) Nunn, Albert Johnson, and Colvin Nunn all of Racine, Calvin (Nancy) Dudley of Tavares, Florida, Marvin Nunn of Jackson, Tennessee, Clayton (Deepali) Cobb of Toronto, Canada, and Rodney Spears of Kenosha; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren all of Racine; special companion/caregiver, Debra Booker of Racine; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Frank was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Pearl Love; brother, Mack Love; and daughter, Jeanette Love.
Homegoing services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 2, 2015 with Rev. Ernest J. Ni'A officiating. Interment and military honors will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Public visitation will begin in the funeral home at 10:30 a.m.
Our family extends many thanks and appreciation to all of Frank's doctors, nurses at the Clement Zablocki VA Medical Center; the Cancer Center of America; and Wheaton Franciscan Home Health and Hospice for all of the care and compassion given to Frank and his family.
