RACINE – William D. Ager, 60, passed away at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in Union Grove on January 23, 2015.
He was born in Racine on January 16, 1955, the son of Kenneth and IvaDell (nee: LaRose) Ager. Bill served his nation with the U.S. Navy.
Bill always had a zest for life and adventure. Following a sky diving accident, he customized his motorcycle to accommodate his wheelchair so he could travel around the country. Bill also was an accomplished writer; writing short stories and articles for magazines and blogs. In 2004, Bill graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a BS in Professional and Technical Communication.
He is survived by his mother, IvaDell Ager of Sturtevant; his sisters, Marlene (Jess) Holbrook; Mardell (Rob) Fisher; brother-in-law, Chuck Wahl; and his nephew and niece, Nicholas and Samantha Fisher all of Racine. Bill was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth and his sister, Melonie Wahl.
