Kenosha – Xavier L. Sullivan, 17, passed away at his home on Friday, May 21, 2010 following a courageous 5-year battle with a Desmoplastic Round-Cell Tumor, a rare form of cancer in the soft tissue. Xavier, affectionately known to many as “X-Man”, was born in Racine on June 16, 1992. A 2009 graduate of Reuther Central High School, he is survived by his mother, Stephanie Sullivan of Kenosha; father, Demetreus Green of Milwaukee; sister, Aubry Donald; grandparents, Mary Simpson and James Williams; and by many, many other dear relatives and friends too numerous to mention by name. Homegoing services will be held in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Fred L. Richmond officiating. Interment will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon.
Maria Del Real says
Stephanie, Aubrey, and family:
Please accept my most sincere condolences. Xavier fought bravely and courageously, and for that, I’m sure you are very proud. He will be missed. I will miss his smile and I will never forget him. I send you my prayers every night and hope you find the strength…just as Xavier did.
Yours in sympathy,
Maria

Very sorry to read of the passing of your dear loved one Xavier. He was so young with so much more to give in life. The bible has words of comfort and encouragement for grieving parents and loved ones, God holds out a wonderful hope for all those in the grave. At John 11:25 Jesus said “I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE. HE THAT EXERCIES FAITH IN ME, EVEN THOUGH HE DIES, WILL COME TO LIFE.”
Mark 5:22-24 35-43 Tells how Jesus resurrected a 12 year old girl. That act is a guarantee that the resurrection of others is possible. (John 5-28,29) What a blessed reason to hope in God! With the gift of memories of Xavier they will bring you great joy. When a loved one becomes a memory that memory turns into a treasure.
To help with the grieving process I found three ways. Talking and writing about my feelings. Also reading the information in the bible about the resurrection.
May you and your family lean on Jehovah God for the strength you need at this time. (Psalms 83-18)
