
Mrs. Charlotte L. Borchardt, 80, passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side at WFH – All Saints on Monday, October 31, 2011.
A lifelong resident of Racine, she was born on January 6, 1931, the daughter of William and Cinna (nee: Sprague) Dixon. On July 12, 1950, she married William L. Borchardt. He preceded her in death on October 8, 2010.
Mrs. Borchardt was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed not only caring for her own family but had great pride in watching over the many children of others throughout the years as well.
Her survivors include her daughters, Carol (David) Baker, Debra (Robert) Pavlovich all of Racine; grandchildren, Dawn (Rick) Stickland, Linda (Dennis) Fossey, Victoria Beasley, Rob (Anna) Pavlovich, William Pavlovich all of Racine; great grandchildren, Britney, Breanna, Cody, Alyssa, Anthony, Corrina; great-great grandchildren, Jayden and Savannah, sisters-in-law, Marion Borchardt and Bertha Borchardt; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Borchardt was preceded in death by her brothers, William, Richard and Raymond (Ruth) Dixon.
Family and friends are invited to meet at the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at noon for the celebration and remembrance of Charlotte’s life with Rev. Ronald Gramza officiating. Her interment will follow and she will be laid to rest next to her husband at Graceland Cemetery. There will be a visitation in the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until noon.
A very special thank you to Dr. Lisa Wolf and her nurse, Vicki; as well as the staff and nurses at WFH – All Saints, especially Nichole and Lisa on the second floor for the loving and professional care that was extended to Charlotte and her family.
