
Racine– Alexander “Alex” Kostic, age 59, passed away at his residence and went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, January 28, 2013.
Alex was born in Kenosha on July 6, 1953 to the late Milomer and Irma Kostic. He was a graduate of Tremper High School. On June 7, 1997 he was united in marriage with Sheri Lee (nee: Kosterman).
Alex was a proud member of Grace Church. Among his interests, he was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. He had a great appreciation for music and was a fan of the Green Bay Packers.
Surviving are his loving wife, Sheri; Sheri’s parents, Mary Ann (Jerry) Kramer and Leroy (Carol) Kosterman; sister-in-law, Sue (Paul) Sander; brothers-in-law, Dan (June) Kosterman and Steve Kosterman; niece, Julie (Dan) Floisted; daughter, Angela Ott; granddaughter, Amanda; three great-grandchildren; lifelong friend and fishing partner, Mike (Nancy) Zekor; special friend, Ernie Waite; canine companions, Sissy and Cosmo; and feline friend, Daisy.
The family will offer a memorial service of remembrance at Grace Church, 3626 Highway 31, on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 10:30 am with Rev. Sam Jackson officiating. Visitation will be in the church on Saturday from 9:00 – 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family have been suggested.
