
Racine- Cynthia Rose "Cindy" Kaebisch, age 45, passed away Wednesday April 8, 2015 at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Medical Center after a courageous battle with colon cancer.
She was born October 16, 1969 in Lockbourne AFB, Ohio, daughter of Kenneth and the late Diana (née: Boguslawske) Kaebisch.
Cindy graduated from Washington Park H.S., received her bachelor's degree from U.W. Whitewater and her master's degree from U.W. Milwaukee. After graduating from Whitewater she taught English in El Paso, Texas for 5 years. In 2000 she returned to Racine and continued her teaching career at Washington Park H.S. Cindy was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed the theater, movies and books.
Surviving are her father Kenneth (Gwen) Kaebisch; sister, Stephanie (Greg) Woods; step-brother, Carl Gieringer; step-sister, Robyn Gieringer; nieces and nephew, Kaylynn Huston, Collin Huston, and Brittany Woods; her loyal cat Boo; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Cindy was preceded in death by her mother, Diana L. Kaebisch and her grandparents.
Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Sunday, April 12, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. for a visitation and time to meet with her family. Per Cindy’s wishes, a formal service will not take place. In lieu of flowers the family has suggested donations to the Sandra Schulze American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, 411 Second St. NW, Rochester, MN, 55901.
