~~Robert Lavell Johnson Jr. was born on October 22, 1988 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Wanda Payton-Gregory and Robert L. Johnson Sr. He moved to Racine, Wisconsin at the age of 12, he attended Starbuck Middle School and then graduated from Washington Park High School. After graduation he accepted as a student at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, where he was studying for a bachelor’s degree in Education. “Rob”, as he was affectionately called by many, was extremely talented, he had a love and passion for music. He was one of the founding members of a local rap group called Team High Life “THL” which also stood for Trust Honestly and Loyalty. Music was Rob’s life but there was nothing he enjoyed more than spending time with his family, friends, spoiling his nieces, nephews and godchildren.
Robert leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Wanda (Eric) Payton-Gregory; Father, Robert L. (Chantell) Johnson Sr.; grandparents, Mary A. Payton, Earline Tate, Shirley Gregory, Robert Moutry and Willie Morris; great grandparents, Benny and Lula Johnson; brother, Tywon Payton; step brothers, Shamar Goines, Eric Jr., Jalen, Charles and Andre Gregory; sisters, Shatorrea Payton, Myesha Johnson, Katrina Thomas, Ladacia (Ronald) Cribbs, Shaquoya Murry, Savannah Alexander and Ciara Johnson; step-sisters, Jamilla Gregory and Sade Rose; his precious god daughters, Tania, Miah, Mackenzie and Charlie McMillian; god son, Tory Harris Jr. and “Team High Life” as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Robert was a great inspiration to us all and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
~~Racine – Robert “Rob” Lavell Johnson Jr., age 26, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 10, 2015. A Celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, October 22nd at St. Paul Baptist Church, 1123 Center St, 11:00am. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00am until the time of service.

Wanda,
Psalm 30:5 weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
When God calls you answer and Rob answered that call.
Remember, Phillippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.
God Bless You and Be With You Always, and Give You Peace!
