Harris Junior College in Meridian, Mississippi. The following year, George was drafted into the United States Army where he fought in the Vietnam War. In 1972, George joined the Racine Police Department where he worked and served our beloved community for 24 years. George was a positive symbol throughout the community he served and many of his long-time friends would often refer to him as “Junebug.” A name he came to embrace with a smile and personality. He leaves to cherish his beautiful and loving wife of 48 years, Mary L. Williams; His children, Angela (Randy) Walker of Houston, TX and George Kelley (LaRita) Williams of Racine, WI; Eight grandchildren: Ronnie Crenshaw III, George Kelley Williams Jr., Lauren Walker, Morgan Williams, Robert Williams, Harper Williams, Justin Brewer, and Jordan Brewer; Two brothers: James (Betty) Williams of Meridian, MS and Willie B.
