Mt. Pleasant – Peter H. Paulick, Jr. passed away in the peaceful surroundings of his home on Wednesday, February 1, 2017. He was 85. Peter was born in Langdon, North Dakota on August 19, 1931, son of the late Peter and Marcella (nee: Rorek) Paulick. He served in the US Army, and was stationed in Germany for several years. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Delores Huck on October 25, 1952 at Holy Name Catholic Church in Racine.
Peter was a devoted employee with Mick’s Auto Parts for over 70 years. He continued working at Mick’s after a 30 plus year career at Jacobson’s Manufacturing. Peter’s second love was his 1932 Ford Roadster which he raced in his early teens, at Great Lakes Dragaway and later restored it to its original beauty. He enjoyed working in his yard, spending time with his family and was always willing to help anyone in need. To know Peter was to love him.
Peter is survived by his devoted wife of nearly 65 years, Delores Paulick; his loving children: Vicky (Doug) Elam of Tennessee, Laura (Todd) Frey, Scott Paulick, and Barb (Greg) Ottelien all of Racine, and Gary Paulick (Nicole) of Union Grove; 15 beloved grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his brothers: Bernard (Sandy) Paulick and Wilbur (Sandy) Paulick; as well as many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by his son Mark Paulick.
