HOMEGOING SERVICE: 11:00 a.m.

RACINE –   TaQuisha Lynn Edwards, 30 yrs. old, transitioned to eternal life on, October 13th, 2017. TaQuisha was born on July 29th, 1987, in Racine WI, to Angila J. Williams (nee: Foots), and Darrell G. Edwards. TaQuisha attended Horlick High School, Class of 2006.

TaQuisha adored the simplest beauty of life, and had a gentle and peaceful spirit with an affectionate smile, that captivated those she met. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her loving family and most of all, her children, which was her sole priority. TaQuisha was a devoted member of the Deliverance Crusaders Church under the leadership of Apostle Howard Fleming.

TaQuisha loved and respected her walk with the Lord and had a deep appreciation for studying and communicating God’s word and she expressed her gratitude through, singing in the church choir, serving on the Building fund and housekeeping committee. She endured her battle, as she remained faithful, fighting the good fight of faith; “The Greater her pain was; The Greater she pressed,” during her most difficult times.

TaQuisha was proceeded in death by her Great Grandmother Willie N. Foots and Rena Bernard, her Great Grandfathers Robert Foots and Oscar Farr. Uncles Chris W. and Kevin Farr, Robert Edwards, Corey Polk. Aunts Kim and Sherie Edwards.

TaQuisha leaves to cherish her memory to her Beloved children; Kapreece and Abrayis Edwards, Mother, Angila (Steve) Williams of Racine, WI, Father, Darrell Edwards of Killeen, TX. Brother, Tyler Mitchell of Racine, WI, Sisters, Alma (ReRe) Edwards of Racine, WI, Clareece Edwards, of Kenosha, WI, Mesha Edwards of Troy, MO, Nokia and Latia Edwards of Eau Claire, WI, and Dominique Edwards.

Aunts Tesa (Edward) Zackery of Racine, WI, Shantel Edwards of Corpus Christi, Texas. Uncles Roosevelt Moore of Racine, WI, Giovonni Days, Calvin Edwards, Freddy Edwards and Gregory Edwards all of Kenosha, WI. Grandparents Janice Foots, Prentice Farr of Racine, WI and Evelena A. (Edwards) Isaac of Kenosha, WI and Russell M. Edwards of Corpus Christi, Texas. A very special friends Damion Fralian and Marsheena Mcwhorter

Family and friends are invited to meet at Dominion Church of God MPGT (402 9th Street) on Monday, October 23, 2017 for a visitation and viewing from 10-11 a.m.  The celebration of her life and Homegoing will take place at 11:00 a.m. with Apostle Howard Fleming officiating.   Her interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery.
