My cousin Willie Brown was more like a big brother than a cousin to me. Growing up with him was fun because, he could always make us laugh out of a bad situation. When I finally got to go to middle school at Gilmore with him and his sister Tina those were the best days. He made sure no one messed with Tina or myself. Our family get together wasn’t fun if he wasn’t there. Everybody would say where Willie at? We had our share of good times and bad times. The one I will cherish all my days is the the night before he passed away. Tina and I got to talk with Willie(with him answering back) and tell him we loved him, we held his hand it was an unbelievable night that I’m so thankful for. Thank you Lord for allowing us that moment.
