Visitation will take place on Friday, March 16, 4:00pm until 7:00pm, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory, 4600 County Line Road. A celebration of Robert’s life will take place on Saturday, March 17, 2018, 11:00am, at Living Faith Lutheran Church, 2915 Wright Avenue, with Rev. Dr. Warren D. Williams officiating. Visitation on Saturday at the church will be from 10:00am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Caledonia.

Signature Flowers by RandyRacine – Robert Edward Sorenson, 53, received the promise of eternal life on Monday, March 12, 2018. He was born in Racine on March 31, 1964, son of the late Robert and Shirley (nee: Humble) Sorenson.
Robert was a member of the Insulators Local 19 for almost 30 years. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing at Johnson Park and Brightondale. Robert also had a passion for deer hunting and liked hunting in Adams County. He was a college basketball fan and loved to root for Wisconsin and Marquette. Robert was also a tremendous Green Bay Packers fan and could always be found cheering on his team in the fall.
Robert leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Kristi (Eric) Houston of LaGrange, KY; son, Daniel Sorenson, Sr. of Racine; grandchildren, Emilia Houston, Zoey Houston, Daniel Sorenson, Jr.; sister, Anita (Scott) Witt; brother, Rick (Joann Gerard) Sorenson; sister-in-law, Pamela Sorenson; girlfriend, Ruth Wojak; his trusted canine companion, Gizmo; other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Sorenson.

The family would like to extend a heart-felt “Thank You” to Dr. Jeffries and the entire staff at Aurora Medical Center as well as the staff at Aurora At Home for the care given to Robert during this difficult time.

Bobby will sure be missed. I am so happy that Yvonne got to meet him. Just wish he would have been here for many more years to live a ripe old age but I guess there are better plans for him during his continuous journey. We will always keep him in our hearts!!!
