STURTEVANT – Dawn M. Andersen, 56, passed away at her residence on June 15, 2018.
She was born in Milwaukee on September 25, 1961, the daughter of the late Theodore M. and Elsie Mae (nee: Schmidt) Biermann.
Dawn was a devoted mother. She encouraged her sons to follow their paths in becoming a fire fighter and police officer and was very proud of their accomplishments.
She is survived by her sons, Ben (Amanda Killips) Andersen and her daughter whom Dawn treated as a grandchild, Cadence Killips of Kenosha and Nick (Kim Linder) Andersen of Milwaukee; her brothers and sister, Gary (Kathy) Biermann of Union Grove, Dale (Carol Ann) Biermann of Milwaukee, Jack (Ruth) Biermann, Jim (Dawn) Biermann both of Arizona, Susan (Steve) Haluzak of Burlington and Dave Biermann of Minnesota. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, Dawn was preceded in death by her niece, Heidi Mae Biermann.
Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Saturday, June 23, 2018 for a visitation from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. A service remembering and celebrating Dawn’s life will follow at 11:30 a.m. A private interment for family and friends will take place in Union Grove Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested.

Iam grateful have known your mother, and iam truly sorry for your loss. She sure was a strong lady, and lucky to have two terrific sons. She was so proud of you both! I will keep her cookie recipes close to my heart, and think of her often (especally when baking).Take care and god bless you all.
