Dom, Rick, Lisa, and Families, I am so saddened by the passing of beautiful Carmen. I remember the entire Tower family living across the street from my family, and Carmens friendship with my sister Colleen. She was so beautiful, I believe she would give Elizabeth Taylor a run for her money In a contest. You were the perfect couple. I remember you living In my Aunt, and Uncle’s house for so many years. To all of you I offer my sincere condolences to ALL of the many that cared for Carmen.
Kathi says

I worked with Carmen at Gilmore Middle School, and she was a beloved, talented teacher, colleague, and trusted friend. The love she had for her family, career, and students is a wonderful legacy. How fortunate many of us were to have had her in our lives!
Guy (Valukas) Daley says
I am incredibly sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Anzalone. I had her briefly at Franklin School than in 6th grade at Janes in 1974. In life we have those few or even a single teacher that impacts your life in a positive way. She was my all time favorite teacher, whom demonstrated daily the characteristics of a saint from my perspective. I am so sorry for your loss, but know that her influence extended far beyond friends and family. I thank god for the confidence this woman gave us young children, and I pray for peace and comfort for the Anzalone family and friends. I know God has a time for us all,…..She will be forever remembered and her memory cherished. Thank you Mrs. Anzalone for being the best teacher a transplanted and awkward young kid could have ever had.

Kenny Anderson says
Was part of the same 6th grade class Kelly Coey had an entry in earlier on this list. We were possibly the luckiest 6th grade class Mrs. Anzalone ever taught. Only because we were her last 6th grade class at Janes school 1981-1982. After our class 6th grade was moved into Jr. High. She had a gift for teaching. She knew how to make everyone feel good about themselves. She could be strict when needed and motherly when you needed someone to talk too. I learned a lot in her class also. Will always be my favorite teacher. My heart goes out to her obviously wonderful family. Kenny Anderson.
