STURTEVANT – Robert Earl Abbott, 72, passed away at Ascension All Saints on Sunday, June 30, 2019.
Robert Earl Abbott was born on July 1, 1946 in Okolona Mississippi to the late Neal & Luenett Abbott. The family moved to Racine, Wisconsin in 1947.
Robert attended the Racine Vocational Tech School and graduated in 1964. Robert was employed by J.I. Case until he was injured in 1984.
Robert accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at an early age at the Little Macedonia Church of God in Christ of Racine Wisconsin. Later he moved his membership to United Church of God in Christ in Sturtevant, Wisconsin.
Robert loved his Family members and friends.
He loved going to church and watching black & white cowboy movies.
Robert is survived by 3 children; Frances Abbot of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Prince Abbott of Racine, Wisconsin, Jewel (Cynthia) Abbott of Charlotte, North Carolina; his four brothers; Ernest (Hester)Abbott of Zion Illinois, James (Karen) Abbott of Oak Park Michigan, Donald Abbott of Seattle Washington, Dennis (Virgina) Abbott of Augusta Georgia; his grandchildren, Marcus Abbott, age 26, Breanna Abbott, age 11, Isaiah Abbott, age 19, and Jeremiah Abbott, age 17; as well as a host of other relatives and dear friends.
Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Friday, July 5, 2019 for a visitation from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. A service celebrating his life and Homegoing will follow at 5:00 p.m. His interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park on Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
