Audrey M. Kroll, 84, passed away peacefully, on Monday, December 9, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 3126-95th St., Sturtevant, on Monday, December 16th, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Terry Huebner officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and in the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers memorials can be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Heart Association. Please see the funeral home website for the complete obituary.

Audrey M. Kroll, 84, passed away peacefully, on Monday, December 9, 2019, with two of her daughters , Carla Wright and Cheryl Zamecnik, at her side. Born in Stevens Point, WI, on September 1, 1935 the daughter of the late Harry and Grace(nee: Lake) Janikowski.
On June 20,1953, at St. Adelbert Catholic Church, in South Milwaukee, she was united in marriage to Howard R Kroll. Dad preceded her in death on May 7, 2016. Mom was employed for many years at Ametek in Racine and later worked at Regal Specialty printing in Milwaukee until she retired. For many years she was a member of St Sebastian’s Catholic Church, in Sturtevant, until she moved to New Mexico where the weather was warmer. Mom loved to be outdoors in the warm sun and working in her flower gardens. This gave her the opportunity to enjoy the butterflies and birds that she so loved, her favorites being the monarch and the hummingbird. She also had a love of angels and had quite the collection of figurines and pins
Mom is survived by her 5 loving children, Howard (Jackie) Kroll of Mt Pleasant, Christine (Pedro) Lopez of Burlington, Coleen (Mike) Wanek of Minnesota City, MN, Carla (Greg) Wright of Kenosha and Cheryl (Scott) Zamecnik of Racine; twelve grandchildren, Danica Allen, Jarod Kroll, Jennifer Vargas-Tobon, Joseph Goetzinger, Andrea Market, Nicole Paulson, Benjamen Wanek , Bryan Wanek, Bryanna Wright, Nathan Zamecnik, Jeremey Zamecnik and Chelsea Zamecnik; seventeen great-grandchildren; sister Margaret Lampshire: brothers Harold (Scooter) Janikowski and Norman Janikowski nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and beloved husband, Mom was preceded in death by her siblings; Donald Janikowski, Catherine Centell, Joan Nicholas, Harry Janikowski, Conrad Janikowski, and infant brother Thomas.
Our family wishes to thank Mom’s sister Margaret Lampshire. Aunt Peggy, THANK YOU for ALL the loving care you extended to our Mom you have a special place in our hearts. To the entire staff at Racine Commons, where Mom spent the last three years of her life, thank you for your loving care and compassion.
