Petals by FeliciaLorraine Williams, age 60, passed away peacefully May 3, 2020. She was born March 1, 1960 in East Moline, Illinois to Ethel Lee Reid Kyles and Clarence Dixon.
Lorraine loved the Lord and accepted Christ as her savior at an early age.
Lorraine loved to love on people. She was no stranger to anyone she met. Lorraine grew up in the small town of Rock Island, IL. until the age of 23, then moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to pursue a career in banking. Lorraine was always intellectually ahead of her time, and a forward thinker. She graduated from Cardinal Stritch University, earning her Masters Degree in Business. She later married Michael Williams; they happily spent life together for 30 plus years until her death. Lorraine spent 20 plus years in personal investment banking- which she genuinely enjoyed; until she found her purpose of helping others. In 2009, Lorraine took a leap out on faith and entered into Healthcare, where she successfully operated Assisted Living Facilities in Racine, Wisconsin. Her dedication and passion for helping seniors- made a difference in their daily living.
Lorraine was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as MawMaw to 9 grandchildren. Lorraine had a heart of gold. Her sweet spirit and her vivacious personality; always made people around her laugh and feel welcomed.
Lorraine really enjoyed life. She did not let the grass grown under her feet, always on the go. She loved to travel so much; If she could spend 12 hours a day in the sun, she would of. Lorraine was a football glam-mom, she loved watching her two sons and grandchildren on the playing fields. In her leisure, she enjoyed watching scary movies, shopping, reading/talking books, camping, fishing, the latest fashion, and driving in her Corvette.
Lorraine was a longtime member of Milwaukee/Racine Chapter- Eastern Star Organization. She dedicated parts of her years, volunteering and hosting community service events. Lorraine was a Corvette girl to the heart, she was an former member of Brew City Corvette Club and an active member of Chicago Cross Roads Corvette Club.
Lorraine is a living example of one of her favorite Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32
“And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”
Lorraine is preceded in death by Ethel Lee Reid Kyles (mother), Clarence Dixon (father) and Richard Dixon (brother), Mary Lou Williams (mother in law) and Lee Williams (father in law).
Lorraine leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Michael Williams; four children, Latoya (Tony) Joseph, Rakia Vaughn, Darold Wayne Beechum, and Chad Williams; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; Ervin (Elsa) Dixon-brother, Geneva (Kenny) Washington-sister, Stanley Dixon-brother, Edna Meador (Lamont) Smiley-sister, Darcia Nabors-sister, Duane (Gail) Kyles-brother, Michael (Tracey) Kyles-brother, James Kyles-brother, Laukesha (Lowell) Holmes-sister, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends too numerous to mention by name..
All of these she loved and touched deeply.
Lorraine was a strong, determined and fiercely independent woman. We will miss her every day.

They said you have your wings and I truly believe that because I feel your presents and your voice in spirit.
