RACINE – Andreas K. Haase, 54, passed away unexpectedly on July 26, 2020.
He was born in Japan on the Tachikawa U.S. Air Force Base October 19, 1965, the son of Dieter and Irene (nee: Schmid) Haase.
Andreas proudly served his nation as a surgical service specialist during Operations Desert Storm and Shield with the U.S. Air Force.
On October 4, 2007 he married Jennifer Devlin in Racine. Andreas worked as a surgical assistant for Dr. Branko Prpa, a skill he acquired while serving in the Air Force.
In addition to his loving wife, Jennifer, he is survived by his sons, Troy (Katie) Haase of Phoenix, AZ, Alex (Kayla) Haase of El Paso, TX, Konrad Haase of Pewaukee; his step-sons, Kyle Devlin and Nicholas Alby both of Racine; his parents, Irene and Maj. Dieter Haase, ret. of Virginia; his sisters and brother, Katherine (Robert) Cantrell of Justin, TX, Christian (Shari) Haase of Loma Linda, CA, Teresa (Smith Coleman) Haase of Earlysville, VA; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Donna and Dick Devlin of Racine; his faithful English Labrador companion, Maya; as well as dear nieces, nephews, extended family, co-workers and friends.
Family and friends are invited to meet at the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 for a visitation and time to meet with the family from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. A service celebrating and honoring his life with military honors will take place on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. The service will be live streamed. In accordance with Racine County mandate, only 50 people will be allowed to enter the funeral home at a time. You may be required to wait outside until others leave the building. For the safety and security of our guests we also strongly requiring those in attendance to bring and wear a face covering. We thank everyone for their understanding and cooperation during this difficult time.
