A service celebrating Joe’s life will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Joseph M. Jurkiewicz, age 42 of Racine, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 20, 2020.
He was born in Racine on January 19, 1978 a son of Jerome V. and Cathy A. (Nee: Musack) Jurkiewicz.
Joe was a 1996 graduate of St. Catherine’s High School and a 2000 graduate of the University of WI-Parkside.
On June 11, 2016 in Wisconsin Dells he was united in marriage to Jennifer A. Dillenburg. He was a passionate sports fan, always cheering for the Packers, Bucks, and Brewers.
Joe was employed as an IT Specialist with Northwestern Mutual Ins. Co. in the product development division.
Survivors include his wife Jennifer; his mother and step father, Cathy and Jim Campbell; his siblings, Jenny (Mark) Jurkiewicz-Hammes, Heather (Jack) Kammien, and Chad Campbell; his father and mother in-law, Robert Dillenburg and Mary Dillenburg; his nieces and nephews Autumn and Brandon Hammes, and Jack and Eliza Kammien and his canine love, Lexi ; his siblings-in-law and their children, Anne Kamke and Caroline, Sarah (Keith) Kohls and Tim, Alex, Rachel,and Ryan, Margie (Scott) Pieper and Evan and Cora, Joe (Becca) Dillenburg and Sofia, Amalia, and Eloise, Libby Welhouse and Griffen and Niah, Bob (Kate) Dillenburg and Josie and Thomas, Kat (Brian) O’ Connell and Emmett, Lyla, and Declan, and Andy (Brittney) Dillenburg. He is further survived by his aunts and uncles, Debbie Benicek, Julie Marks, Jodi (Chris) Perrault, Annette Jurkiewicz, Cindy Jurkiewicz, Greg Musack, Greg Jurkiewicz; his cousins, Heather Benicek, Nicole (Craig) Schultz and their children Aubrey, Elise and Carter, Erica Marks and her daughter Leah, Jeremy ( Desiree) Marks and their daughter Talia, David Marks, Jason Runkel, Megan Runkel, Jenny Perrault, and Catherine Perrault.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry, and grandparents, Vincent and Helen Jurkiewicz and George and Ruth Musack.

So sorry to see this. I had the pleasure of coaching Joe for 4 years at St Ed’s. What a great kid. Always found a way to have fun. Always polite and always did the right thing. It’s so hard to believe that he has gone to heaven at such a young age. He was a big part of a very good team and I will always have fond memories of those four years I was blessed to know him. My condolences to all who got to know him.

I’m sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories working with Joe at Northwestern Mutual. He was kind and utterly trustworthy. When we passed in the hall, I’d always ask “how’s the pug life?” That always brought a smile to Joe’s face.
