Today should not be a day of tears and sorrows. Today should be a day of celebration for Patricia Ann Burgman. She was born to Charles Burgman Sr. and Mildred (Love) Parker in Sherod, MS by midwife on January 9, 1955. She is survived by three sisters, Carlon Martin, Ora Love, and Denise Robinson and husband, Jesse Robinson. She also leaves behind to cherish her life three children, Jarmel Burkman-Walker and wife Felicia Walker, Shonette Burkman, and Luther Burkman. She had a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews as well.
She lived a good long life as she saw fit. She was a hard worker ranging from picking cotton in Biloxi,MS to being a CNA until her retirement in 2003 due to a stroke which left her incapable of working. Our mom had many capes and will always be one on our superheroes.

Man, I still can’t believe that momma pat has gone unto heaven. She was the best person someone can ask for and she was always lending a helping hand no matter what it was she was there for everyone who came into contact with her. Man this is so unreal and I can’t believe she is gone
