PUBLIC viewing will be in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 10:00 – 11:00 am. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, PRIVATE services for immediate family only will follow at 11:30 am with Rev. George B. Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park.

Racine – Lola Bell Goines, age 95, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, in Racine, Wisconsin surrounded by family.
Born December 28, 1925, in Quitman, Mississippi, she was the daughter of David Hunter and Willie Ann (Manning) Hunter. Lola received her early education in Quitman, MS.
August, 1943, Lola was united in marriage to Johnnie C. Price in Enterprise, MS. One daughter, Carolyn Ann was born to this union. Mr. Price passed away.
On January 10, 1949, Lola was united in marriage to Luvel Goines in Enterprise, MS. Luvel and Lola were married until Luvel’s death January 19, 1993. Seven children were born to Luvel and Lola (Jerry, Brenda, Bonnie, Danny, Loretta, Joey and Victoria).
Luvel and Lola became members of the Israel of God’s Church in December, 1992. Lola was a homemaker, enjoyed Church, gardening and loved her children and grandchildren as well as her Church family. Luvel and Lola welcomed into their home and fed many people over the years.
Lola leaves to cherish her memory, Carolyn Price, Brenda Grimes, Victoria (Edward) Jones, and daughter-in-law Willie Mae (Jerry) Goines of Racine, Loretta Goines of Toledo, Ohio and Joey (Patricia) Goines of Arizona, Sisters-in-law Minnie Brye and Geraldine Goines of Racine, over 40 Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren as well as a host of Nieces, Nephews and Relatives.
A special thank you to her Grandson, Darryl Jones, who was instrumental in the daily care of his Grandmother.
Also thank you to her Son-in-law, Edward Jones, Grandchildren Jonah, Cameron, and Amaya Jones, Sheri Price, Kirby Coleman and Tiffany and Eric Berryhill who assisted in the care of their Grandmother. Thank you as well to her dear friend, Mrs. Nina Lassiter for her friendship over the years.
Lola was preceded in death by her Sister, Cressie May, 1st Husband Johnnie Price, Parents David and Willie Ann Hunter, 2nd Husband Luvel Goines, Children Jerry Goines, Bonnie Andrews, Danny Goines, Granddaughters Ericka Jones and Audrey Goines.
