Our deepest sympathy to the family of Irma. I have many fond memories of both Irma and Gus as a young girl growing up with them in the South congregation and many more throughout the years. We also traveled with them in a group on a tour of the World Headquarters in New York which was such a pleasure and very enjoyable. More recently we saw Irma at a dear friend’s funeral and Irma was delightful as always. It was so good to see her! We treasure our memories of our dear sister and brother, her husband Gus, in the faith and look forward to being reunited with her in the near future in the resurrection right here on earth (Acts 24:15) It is our sincere hope that the family of Irma find comfort in the hope the Bible holds out to all of them.
With Christian Love,
The Brown Family

My dearest Sister. As they say, You knew me before I knew myself! Can’t remember a time at the meeting, Assembly that I didn’t see you and Gus. You both were such a encouragement to me, I will never forget that. Rest now and it’s just a little wait longer. We will see you again. May Jehovah hold your family a little closer and longer, during this difficult time. ♥️♥️♥️

My sincerest condolences to the family. I remember Bro./Sis. Langner growing up in Racine. We went to different Kingdom Halls but as a community we knew one another’s families. On a personal note: Paul, we went to school together and hung out many times as Seniors of Case High afterwards. When I was a guest at your house, your mother was always gracious and warm. She’d then ask us what are you guys up to? where were we going? Paul, when did you expect to get back? OMG, as teen-agers our answers was always “nothing and I don’t know”. Miss you pal.

Our deepest sympathies to all the family for your loss of Erma. Paul, you and your wife were wonderful caregivers to your mother for several years. My husband and I would see you taking your mom for visits from Parkview Gardens as we too were visiting my mother. Our family has known Gus and Erma for 30+ years. Gus preached to my Uncle Dick. (Richard Guy). He became a Jehovah’s Witness. As a result of Gus studying with him, all of my siblings, mother, step-dad, and all others we in-turn preached to, became Jehovah’s Witnesses. We learned about Jehovah and His wonderful hopes. We would visit your parents many times. Erma very proudly showed us her library in the basement of bibles and other religious material.
Erma and Gus also talked of their daughters and grandchildren with so much love!
They are both now in Jehovah’s memory who will remember “every” bit of their personalities… The resurrection to the paradise earth is indeed a GRAND hope that they both held dear to their hearts. They are both dearly missed.
John 5: 28 & 29
