Her love of music and singing was evident to those who knew her. In her later years, Josie enjoyed taking rides to look at the fall colors of the trees or Christmas lights or Fourth of July fireworks. She also enjoyed watching westerns, The Gaithers, Lawrence Welk and Touched by an Angel. Additionally, she collected pennies throughout the year to cash them in at Christmas to purchase gifts for family members.
