Kenosha – Carl “Bill” William Thompson, Jr., age 45, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at home early Monday, July 26, 2021.
Carl was born in Kenosha on August 4, 1975 and attended local schools, including Mary D. Bradford High School. On June 22, 2013 at Wolfelbuttel Park in Kenosha, Carl was united in marriage with the love of his life, Jennifer Lynn (nee: Johnsen). He had been employed with several local companies, including North Lake Engineering as heavy machine assembler.
Christian by faith, Carl & Jenny attended Christ the King Church. As a motorcycle enthusiast, Bill was often found on the road with his Harley-Davidson. He had a wide variety of music interests and was “all about the bass”; was quite the talented cook & master of the grill; enjoyed fishing & a good game of cards; and was instrumental in founding “Bikes for Tykes” motorcycle ride fundraiser, collecting countless toys & funds for the less fortunate in our community. Above all, Bill was all about his family…they were his everything!
Surviving are his loving wife, Jennifer Thompson; adored children, Rachael Cox (age 17), Joshua Thompson (age 10) and twin daughters, Isabella & Alexis Thompson (age 7); fathers, Carl (Katherine) Thompson, Sr. and William “Bill” Langendorf; brothers, Charles Bunch Jr. and Shawn (Bridgette) Bunch; Jenny’s parents, Linda & William Rodriguez; brother-in-law, Dana Johnsen; cousins, other relatives and many friends – too numerous to mention all by name. Carl was greeted in Heaven by his mother, Debra C. Langendorf (passed away November 29, 2020) and father-in-law, Joseph Johnsen.
