Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday, August 28, 2021, for a visitation from 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
A eulogy will follow at 4:00 p.m.

Jim participated and provided music at Thoughts for Food for many years. Therefore, in his honor, memorials have been suggested to the Racine County Food Bank.

RACINE – Mr. James P. Haase, 74, passed away at Ridgewood Care Center on Tuesday, August 24, 2021.
He was born in Racine on August 19, 1947, the son of the late Paul and Leone (nee Breyer) Haase. He graduated from Washington Park High School in 1966.
On March 22, 1969, he married Diane Lekas. She preceded him in death on May 24, 2020.
Jim was a talented drummer and singer and played in local bands for most of his life. He loved his music, but his wife and family always came first. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Delgado; his son, Jeremy (Terasa) Haase; grandchildren, Mikayla Haase 19, Jessica Delgado 18, Julia Delgado 16, Jacob Delgado 15, Jaden Delgado 13, Mason Farber 11, Kira Haase 8, and Nathan Haase 10; his brother-in-law, Gary Lekas; as well as other relatives and dear friends too numerous to mention. In addition to his parents and wife, Diane, Jim was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Robert Lekas.

I worked with Jim for many years during his career at Unico. He always talked about his family with such pride. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
We had many laughs together and a running joke about bringing pickles to the pot lucks at work.
We ran into each other a few times during the years after Unico and he was always laughing or had a smile on his face.
