Service Details
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, 4:00pm until 7:00pm, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory, 4600 County Line Road. A celebration of Robert’s life will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2021, 11:00am, at the funeral home. Visitation on Thursday will be from 10:00am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery.

Robert Charles Meddy, Sr., 78, passed away at Ascension – All Saints Hospital on September 20, 2021. He was born in Racine on January 16, 1943, son of the late Wilber and Lucille (née: Wilde) Meddy.
Robert worked for the City of Racine until his retirement. He enjoyed woodcarving and building model trains. Robert was an avid hunter and loved hunting up on his property in Jennings, WI. He loved the Wisconsin Badgers and loved watching the games on Saturday afternoons.
Robert leaves to cherish his memory, his sons, Robert Meddy, Jr., Scott Meddy; grandchildren, Doug (Bridget) Schneider, Nichole (Logan) Burke, Ryyan Meddy, Edward (Amanda) Terry, Joe Schutten, Chloe Meddy, Dylan Meddy; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Austin, Danica, Brayden, Alex, Izzy, Ireland, Olive, Franky, Eden, Nova, Benaiah, Aria; other relatives and dear friends too numerous to mention.
In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Dianna Meddy; daughter, Barbara (Edward) Terry; and sister, Carol.
