The Celebration of Vanessa’s Life will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022, 11:00am at Dominion Church M.P.G.T., 402 Ninth Street, Racine, WI. Visitation will be in the church 10:00am – 11:00am.

On Sunday, January 16, 2022, at Ascension Hospital in Racine, WI, God graciously allowed Sister Vanessa K. Williams, age sixty-two, to make her transition to eternal life.
Vanessa K. (nee:Rodgers) Williams was born in Akron, OH to the late William L. Rogers and Harriet A. (nee: Morris) Rogers on November 24, 1959. She was one born among eleven siblings. Vanessa was baptized and received the Holy Ghost, in the Akron assembly of the Church of God M.P.G.T. following the steps of her late sister, Doris, where the late Overseer Alma Walker pastored. She moved to Racine, WI in 1979 and soon was united in matrimony to the late Jerome Williams in January 1980. Of this union were born four children: one boy and three girls. She worked for years as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Sister Vanessa was a member of the Dominion Church of God Militant Pillar and Ground of Truth assembly, Racine, WI
She leaves to cherish her memories, Syreeta Williams, Denise Collier, Jerome Williams (Cierra Cunningham – you were special to her), and Nina Williams, all of Racine, Wisconsin; six brothers: Michael J. (Eugenia V.) Morris, Charles Gaffney, William (Cheryl) Richardson, Joseph (Debi) Rogers, Leonard Rogers, and Butch Williams; three sisters: Barbara Jean (Mark) Anderson, Sandra Richardson, and Karen Rogers; sixteen grandchildren; Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, Godchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Doris Smith, and loving brother, William Jacobs.
