A memorial service, celebrating his life, will be held in the funeral home on Friday, December 30th at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

Lee Rasmussen, 84, was born in Oakes, North Dakota on November 7, 1938. He passed away peacefully on November 29, 2022, with his family by his side. He was the son of George and Marie (née: Hempler) Rasmussen.
On April 18, 1975, he was united in marriage to the late Fran Rasmussen, who preceded him in death on July 29, 2020. Lee was employed, as a truckdriver, for AMC, Case Co., and QC. He served 8 years in the Army National Guard. Lee was a member of First Baptist Church, the Racine Optimist, and the Teamsters Local #200. Lee coached YMCA kids soccer, enjoyed James Bond movies and Westerns, working on cars, and was always the first to lend a helping hand to those in need. Later in life he became an expert pie maker and master of Sudoku.
Surviving are his children, Brian (Angela) Rasmussen of Norman, OK, Marcia (Craig) Highman of Racine, Wade (Roxanne) Rasmussen, Kathleen, GA, Tracie (Joe) Minorik of Racine, Kim Knowles of Decatur, AL, Robin (Ted) Shechtman of Cary, IL, Lee “Shotter” (Lori) Rasmussen Jr., of Racine; 14 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Dale Rasmussen, WI, Georgia (Jim) Deering, ND, Thomas Rasmussen, WI, and Ranae (David) Hansen, WI. In addition to his parents and beloved wife, Lee was preceded in death by his loving parents, one sister, and two brothers.
