Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday, August 5th, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. A service celebrating and honoring her life will commence at 11:30 a.m. Her committal service will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.

RACINE – Mrs. Evangeline Rios-Roberts, 68, passed away Wednesday, July 26th with her loved ones by her side. Born in Detroit, Michigan on August 28, 1954, to parents Jesus and Conception Rios. Angie worked at Racine Unified School District for 19 dedicated years, where she worked with kids’ kindergarten through 12th grade and was loved by many students who looked up to her as a mother figure. She also waitressed at Meadows Restaurant in Franksville, WI to help provide for her loving family. On September 21st, 1982, Angie met the love of her life Barry Roberts, and they had 41 wonderful years together by each other’s side. Together they had three amazing sons, Robert, Michael and David to complete their family. As years passed her family grew and she welcomed into her family three daughters-in-law Tiffany, Heather, Chie to her beloved family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother to her grandkids Alexsis, Alicia, Makayla, Vala, Sydney, Casey, Isis, Carter and Siris.
Angie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family as well as traveling around Wisconsin including Wisconsin Dells and festivals with her husband Barry Roberts for weekend getaways and enjoying retirement. Her kids and grandchildren were truly her world and she loved being in the presence of her family. She enjoyed watching Dirty Dancing, Grease, making sure everyone knew when the Charlie Brown holiday specials were on and Lifetime Movie Network.
You could always count on her to give you an encouraging word and be there when you needed her the most. She had strong faith and knew that Jesus was there by her side everyday of her loving life. She was a selfless woman that donated to Shriners Children’s Hospital as she had a heart and passion for children and wanted to help those in need.
Angie will truly be missed as she has made a significant impression on all of those she has met. We know she is looking down upon us as our guardian angel and will forever be a part of our lives and in our hearts.
