Her Homegoing Service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, February 3rd, at 4:00 p.m. Visitation will be that same day from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

Miller's FlowersCheryl French, 68 passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Thursday, January, 18th 2024. Cheryl was born in Greeneville, Mississippi on September 23rd, 1955 to her loving parents Sidney and Ann Pearl Davis. Cheryl graduated from Zion Benton High School and lived in Zion, IL for many years before relocating to Racine, WI where she pursued her career in caregiving. She enjoyed spending time with family, playing bingo, watching ministry on TV, shopping, and cooking wonderful meals for her beloved son Lamar, whom she affectionately called “Fathead”. Cheryl is survived by her son Lamar (Leslie) French of Racine, WI; one sister, Dominica Davis of Zion, IL; one brother, Larry Davis of Zion,IL; five grandchildren, Zyann French of Richmond, VA, Lammaria French of Richmond, VA, Adonis French of Racine, WI, Auslinn Johnson of Rockford, IL and Zaclinn Johnson of Richmond, VA. She is also survived by her two great-grandsons Kartier and Kashtonn William of Richmond, VA. Cheryl is fondly remembered by her loving nieces, nephews, and other relatives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Frank French and two brothers, Sidney and Kim Davis.

Cheryl kept you laughing about something if you could get her to speak clearly lol! She also traveled with me & ladies the 1st weekend in February each year to my hometown Cincinnati that road trip would be hilarious as wed laughed come back North.
I’m broken up this 1st Feb weekend Cheryl will be laid to rest OMG. I just can’t believe my dear friend is gone. Until we meet again you received your wings well. I love you and truly going to miss you.

Cheryl I’m going to miss you so much.. You weren’t just my mother in law you was my everything. I will never forget all the fun times we had together, you was the light of the party and I’m going to miss that. I love you, and going to miss you sooooo much.
