Barbara Kathleen “Barb” Webster (née Jacobsen), 74, of Racine, Wisconsin, passed away on March 18, 2024. Barb was born on August 14, 1949, in Racine, Wisconsin.
Barb was a sweet, loving and optimistic person who believed anyone could, with hard work, overcome their problems to live a happy, productive life. That attitude served her well while working as a bankruptcy paralegal helping people get their financial lives in order. She loved seeing the many colorful flowers bloom around her home each year. She loved “road trips” which gave her time to knit and visit with her husband; slot machines that paid; lots of presents for the people she loved; funny stories about herself and the people in her work and personal life. She loved sharing uplifting sayings about life with her children, grandchildren and other people in her life, including her husband.
Barb is survived by her loving husband, Michael Burks, who supported her while she dealt with her numerous health issues later in life. She is further survived by children Melissa (Timothy) Northup, Carrie Webster and Jeffrey Webster; step-children, Jonathan Burks and Jeremy (Maranda) Burks; sister-in-law Carol Burks (James Davis) and nieces Meghan Kiser and Alison (Sean) McAdams. Her blended family gave her eight grandchildren; Donald and Conner Webster, Hannah (Winn) Lyons, Evan, Andrew and Elliana Northup and Maisie and Quinn Burks. She loved all her children, step-children and grandchildren with all her heart.
She is further survived by Donald Webster; her dear friends Judy, Lisa, Sharman, Pat and Birdie; and the Webster, Durfey, Druktenis and Jaskulske families whom Barb still considered Family.
Barb was preceded in death by her father Orie Jacobsen and mother Verna Jacobsen (nee’ Rasmussen) whom she considered her best friend. She was further preceded in death by her mother-in-law Carla Burks (nee’ Tandrup) whom she considered her second mother.

I’ve been telling people you are a year older than me and now I’m faced with the truth. You’re almost a year older than me. Love you Sis. You’re the best and I will always love you 😍.
