CALEDONIA – Mrs. Nancy E. Goodwin, 89, passed away peacefully at Parkview Gardens on April 9, 2024.
She was born in Milwaukee on September 3, 1934, the daughter of the late George and Esther (nee Schneider) Zunker. She graduated from Rufus King High School in 1952.
Nancy lived in the Milwaukee and Kenosha area until 1977 before moving to Nevada. She moved back to Wisconsin in 2021.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie Mallwitz of Caledonia; her granddaughters, Jacqueline (Jeremy Malley) Goodwin of Racine, and Joanna (Scott) Maslanka of King, NC, son-in-law Michael Lussier, and brother-in-law Marvin Heuser. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, James Goodwin, daughters, Barbara Goodwin and Linda Lussier; her sister, Eleanor Heuser; and her brother, George Zunker.
Nancy’s family wishes to thank the staff at Parkview Gardens and at Heartland Hospice, who lovingly cared for their “Sassy Nancy.”

Nancy was a wonderful woman to have know.. We spent countless times together just talking and enjoying one another’s company.. I was honored to be able to spend a few of her last hours with her.. She will be missed dearly, but will never be forgotten..

The best Aunt ever!!! So many beautiful memories with our sassy Nancy! One of the strongest, sweetest woman I’ve ever known. Loved being around her. RIP Auntie love you forever.
