A service celebrating Gwen’s life and Homegoing will follow at 4:00 pm.

Petals by FeliciaRacine, Wi – Gwen Grant, 62, passed away May 23,2024, at The Villa at Lincoln Park.
Gwen was born the third of four children on October 21, 1961 in Chicago, Ill, to Willie Grant and Beatrice Johnson (Grant).
Gwen attended Collins High School in Chicago, Ill. Gwen moved to Racine, Wi in the early 90’s and worked at various gas stations as a cashier. Gwen also was a Certified Nursing Assistant for various companies.
Gwen loved Bingo, whether it was Potawatomi, Flat Iron Mall, the Racine Labor Center, or Roma Lodge, she was there. Gwen also loved to barbeque; rain, shine, sleet, or snow she would fire that grill up. Gwen could light up a room even when she wasn’t trying to. Gwen made people laugh. She was the life of the party on any occasion, and most of all she loved her kids, grandkids and being around family.
Gwen is survived by her parents, Willie Grant of Milwaukee, Wi and Beatrice Johnson (Grant) of Jacksonville, Fla; significant other, Eddie Williams of Racine, WI; daughter, Tiffany (Tony Sr) of Racine, Wi. daughter, Krystal (Walter) of Jacksonville, FL; grandkids, Ta’Quazia, Tony Jr, Ta’Riyah, Tyrece, and Tyrion all of Racine, WI, Khristian, Paris, Ka’Moni, and Kam’Rynn, all of Jacksonville, FL; great-grandkids, Nevaeh and Macario of Racine, WI; brothers, Darryl (Lula) of Grenada, MS, Roderick (Elaine) of Waukegan, IL, sisters, Gloria Conners of Jacksonville, FL and Donna Golden of Fort Worth, TX.
Gwen leaves to cherish her memory a host of nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, cousins, great cousins, special niece, Shawaundee Grant of Jacksonville FL; special nephews, Lamier (Doochie) of Jacksonville, FL, and Jeremy Grant of Chicago, IL: her special friends, Sherry Mcglorn of Racine, WI, Tammy of Milwaukee, WI, and Mary of Racine, WI.
Gwen was preceded in death by her grandson, Tyriq, her nephew, Tre’Vian Robinson, and her cousin, Terro.
In Gwen’s voice, her favorite quote “God Willin”, we will meet again.
