MOUNT PLEASANT – Tammi L. Christensen (nee Hoffman/Wilson), 63, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by loved ones on Monday, September 9, 2024.
Tammi was born on October 6, 1960, to Marie and Lewis Hoffman. Moving all over Wisconsin, she finally settled in Racine. She married twice and had three beautiful daughters. She worked for Andis and retired there after 23 wonderful years of service where she made lifelong friends.
An avid reader, she also enjoyed birdwatching, puzzles, English history, politics, and current events. You could usually find her in her backyard enjoying the nature around her and could tell you all about the lives of the creatures that lived amongst her. As a junior meteorologist, she loved to discuss cold fronts and how weather moved across the world. She loved being a mother to her three girls and her bonus daughter, her beloved dog, Jackie.
She was a funny, charismatic woman and loved to make her family laugh, especially her granddaughters, Emma and Delilah. Her contagious laugh and jokes will be remembered for eternity. You truly couldn’t help but love her. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her mother, Marie; her sister Meg; her brother Jon; and her children, Jessi (Kai), Miranda (Daniel), and Caitlin; her granddaughters, Emma and Delilah; as well as her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lewis; her sister, Beth; and her dog, Jackie.

Tammi’s family wishes to thank everyone who has supported us during this difficult time. Your thoughtfulness, prayers, and expressions of love will not be forgotten. A special thank you to Hospice Alliance for their wonderful care. May God continue to bless you all.

Tammi was married to my Uncle, Tim Christensen. I have fond memories of babysitting Miranda and Caitlin, and visiting with Tammi at family gatherings. She was a sweet lady, and will be missed here on Earth. RIP, Tammi.

Rest in peace Tammy.
I worked with Tammy at Andis on the Detachable Blade line.
Tammy had a talent that could make the very stressful day on the line we worked on funny as hell. And that is a true gift.
Her sense of humor was so funny.
Even throughout everything thing she went through with her health issues she would come into with a smile on her face and happy to at work.
When she retired you could tell sometime was miss on the line.
She will alway be in our heart and is true missed on our line at Andis.
