Timothy Harvey Weidner

Jun 23, 2024 – Oct 2, 2024

Timothy Weidner, age 80, of Racine, Wisconsin passed away peacefully holding hands with the love of his life Donna Beck on Wednesday October 2nd, just before 5:30 pm, after a 4 year difficult road with Dementia and eventually physical complications related to this as well.

Timothy was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin on June 23rd, 1944 to the late Verna (Cove) and Herbert Weidner, he also had seven siblings, whom he shared life’s private special moments with and a wonderful time growing up. Growing up in Kenosha his whole life, he attended St. Marks Catholic School, Lincoln Junior High, then St. Joes, and graduated from Bradford High School. Tim also attended various college programs for Art throughout the years. Tim was a hard worker and loved the Arts.

Tim was a loving partner for many years to the love of his life, Donna Beck of Racine whom he loved to no end. They were inseparable and they enjoyed traveling together, snuggling together, and savoring every moment as they both had difficult early roads in life that led them to appreciate each other and value any time spent together, even holding hands on the couch while bird watching. They were truly in love, until the last days. Tim was described as a happy and kind man when growing up and all throughout his life. He was always called “A good kid”. Tim was a fairly private person, but would tell you his straight forward opinion in a calm way if asked.

Tim worked as an Artist and Painter. He won Many Art Awards all across the Country and he would Renovate and do the Art work for Hotels in New York, Hawai and California.  He was a true Artistic Designer for many churches across the country and did special work on the gold leafing and the specialized artistic pieces in churches. He was a Talented Artist and he would be called to take any art and turn it into something unique and special.  Tim had a love for sketch art as well and he loved looking up to one of his many favorite artists, Pollard. He could take a small pin from Disney and put in on a sketch board with unbelievable talent. You will find Tim’s work all across the United States from large wall murals to tiny buildings. Tim took great pride for many years doing the set design for hours on end at the Children’s Theater Academy in Kenosha with his Niece, Julie. He would create Stages and phenomenal scenes that “popped out” and brought the entire theater cast into reality.  He warmed the hearts of thousands who attended the theater plays for years, from the viewers to the individual staff.  He loved to work with his niece there, Julie-putting much love into these theater sets.  He loved working with his sister Carole who did the costumes. This was important and cherished family time for him. Often times he worked with his partner Donna Beck, while she painted the faces of the actors and actresses and he did the entire backround theater design.  Together, they volunteered the love they had for each other into something magically seen. He would warm the hearts of thousands at the artist of the plays.

He is survived by his loving partner Donna Marie Beck; sons, Peter Weidner and Todd and Dan Holman; daughter, Renee Beck-Santiago; grandson, Christian Weidner; granddaughter, Kayla Renee Jade Beck (Kendra Wartzenluft); great-granddaughter, Yesenya Renee Chuc; sisters, Carole Bausano and Jeannine Weidner; brothers, Larry Weidner, Gaylord (Bonnie) Weidner and Patrick (Jeanne) Weidner, Roger and Dianne Klinkhammer. He is further survived by many other family members and friends. He was a loving father to Peter Weidner of Kenosha and Renee Beck-Santiago of Racine guiding them with many years of unconditional care and direction and love. Tim was a kind grandfather to Christian Weidner and Kayla Beck, and great grandfather to Yesenya Renee Chuc, whom will deeply miss his gentle and guiding ways.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Verna (Cove) and Herbert Weidner, a brother Wayne Weidner, a sister Mary Alice Weidner, a brother in law Don Bausano, and a sister in Law Barb Wiedner.

The family would like to extend a sincere and heartfelt thank you to, The Gardens of Mount Pleasant- for years of love and care, Providers at Safe Harbor including Cheryl RN and Walter as well as all of the nurses and caregivers. Thank you to all of Tim’s Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, Hospice care, Housekeeping, CNA’s, compassionate chaplains, and all healthcare staff that took care of Tim during these last difficult four years for him as he continued to loose more and more of his memory. (But he never forgot Donna).

Thank you to his primary care provider, Dr. Alby K Antoo MD who he respected and Tim took pride in seeing for many years. Urologist, Dr. Matkov, Cardiologist, Dr. Anthony Locurto

A special thank you to, Aurora Mount Pleasant Hospital for two solid weeks of kind, compassionate, loving care at the end of life to not only Tim, but his grieving family as well.

Special Thank you to the Nurses on Med Surg One and the hospice care as well.

A Special Thank you to Kayla Beck- who organized Tims entire life and health needs with coordinating all of his care his last few years of life.

From his partner Donna: “To Tim’s loving family, friends, and providers- he will never be forgotten and he will forever be in out hearts remembering him daily, His great sense of humor and his kindness and love for all will be carried on.  He was the most wonderful man ever”.

His sense of humor never went away, even during his last 7 days of life, when he looked at Donna and said: “Let’s get out of here Babe”.

Tim’s wishes are to have no formal funeral-however a life celebration which will be happening privately with family and friends. Tim wanted us to remember him when he was alive and full of life. His Family and Friends will remember and love him dearly to no end.

The Munoz Family

My siblings and I recently had the unfortunate experience of having to plan a funeral for our beloved mother – Juana Munoz. During this difficult time, we were fortunate enough to come across a funeral home that truly went above and beyond what was expected. Their attention to detail and dedication to ensuring our comfort and safety throughout the entire process was truly remarkable. From the moment we stepped foot into the funeral home, we were greeted with warmth and compassion. The staff members, but specifically Mark was incredibly understanding and empathetic, making us feel at ease during such a challenging time. Mark took the time to listen to our needs and wishes, and his guidance and support were invaluable. One aspect that truly stood out was Mark’s meticulous attention to detail. He paid close attention to every aspect of the funeral arrangements, ensuring that nothing was overlooked. From the floral arrangements to the music selection, every detail was carefully considered and executed flawlessly. Mark even noticed that the temperature in the room was getting warm and promptly adjusted it to ensure our comfort. What impressed me the most was their commitment to our safety. Mark and his team took every precaution to ensure that our family and guests were protected throughout the entire process. From the funeral home to the cemetery, Mark made sure that all safety measures were in place, including providing hand sanitizers, and even arranging for additional staff members to assist with crowd control. Furthermore, Mark’s professionalism and organization was evident in every aspect of the funeral service. He coordinated seamlessly with the cemetery staff, ensuring a smooth transition from the funeral home to the final resting place. Their attention to detail and commitment to excellence truly made a difference in our overall experience. In addition to their exceptional service, the funeral home also provided us with resources and support beyond the funeral itself. They offered grief counseling services and connected us with local support groups, which proved to be invaluable during our grieving process. Overall, we cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional service provided by Mark, and broader, Draeger Langendorf team. Their attention to detail, commitment to our safety, and genuine compassion made a difficult time a little more bearable. I highly recommend their services to anyone in need of funeral arrangements, as they truly go above and beyond to ensure that every detail is taken care of and that families are supported throughout . the entire process. – Epifanio and The Munoz Family
