Sandra Lee Tait, born to Robert and Elaine Morrison in 1943, passed peacefully into eternal life on October 18, 2024, surrounded by her immediate family and best friend, Barb.
She will be deeply missed by her sister, Linda, cousin, Gail, three children: Andy (Maria), Barry (Heather), Chris (Karri) as well as her seven grandchildren: Noah, Isaiah, Aidan, Norah, Elliott, Nathaniel and Nicholas. Preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Ron, who passed away only 17 days prior on October 1, 2024. Sandy’s loving nature and infectious smile will be missed by everyone that had the blessing of knowing her.
She graduated from UW-Parkside with a degree in Psychology and worked in a variety of industries with the common thread of compassion and concern for others in all her jobs. Some of her employers included the Racine Literacy Council (Executive Director), the Private Industry Council (Unit Manager), Racine YWCA (Executive Director), and Century Security and Communications (Safety Advocate). In addition, she enjoyed working with her son, Barry, to establish and manage Tait Media Design, doing the books for over 31 years. She was a faithful member of Faithbridge Church and servant of Jesus, sharing Him with others whenever given the opportunity. Her biggest joy was spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed playing games with her grandchildren and attending their extracurricular events. Her unwavering devotion to her husband despite her own health issues was punctuated with her regular decrees of being “Blessed.”
