Services celebrating Nancy’s life will be held in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery. A memorial luncheon will follow. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Tuesday from 9:30 am – 11:00 am.

Red Rock, AZ (formerly of Racine) – Nancy Carole (nee: Mickelson) Edgerly, age 84, passed away peacefully at Casa De Le Luz Hospice in Tucson, AZ late Friday, December 20, 2024.
Nancy was born on December 4, 1940 to the late Charles and Katherine (nee: Stupak) Mickelson. She attended Knapp & Mitchell and graduated from Washington Park High School in 1958. On September 27, 1958 in Holy Innocents Episcopal Church, Nancy was united in marriage with the love of her life, Herman Byron Edgerly.
Nancy was employed as a claims processor for American Family Insurance. Among her interests, Nancy enjoyed travelling, spending time with family at their place, Christmas Mountain, in Wisconsin Dells, and was quite lucky with gambling. Her most recent travel was on a family trip to the Grand Canyon in September. Nancy moved to Arizona five years ago to be near her children.
Surviving are her daughter, Katherine Aschauer; son, Gary (Christine) Edgerly; grandson, Jake (Jamie) Edgerly; and great-grandson, Jase Edgerly.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Herman (passed away July 25, 2015); son-in-law, Dave Aschauer; sister, Jane Mickelson; brother, Charles W. Mickelson; and by Herman’s parents, Buford and Mary Anna (nee: Miller) Edgerly.

Nancy was beloved by all. She was smart and sassy, and a beautiful soul that brought light to us whenever she was around.
