Lee, the son of the late Ella Ree Moss and Lee George Deal. Lee was born in Chicago Illinois on January 25, 1968.

Lee accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and savior at an early age. Lee was a jack of many trades. He was good at and enjoyed working on cars he fixed on many cars. He learned this from a few uncles. He also really loved listening to music and was a great dancer. His best trade was cooking, especially on the grill. He really enjoyed throwing some ribs and chicken on the grill for his family and friends. Lee enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was also good at playing pool. He enjoyed fishing with his children and grandchildren. Lee‘s favorite quote was it’s not goodbye. It’s see you later.

Lee was united in marriage in 1997 to Michele. Lee had five children.

Lee is survived by his five children Anthony (Letisha) Richmond,  Lamesha Cobbler, Alicia (Tim) Souter, Alaina (Chris)Richmond Doss, Adrien (Heather) Richmond Mayle, one sister, Rita (Johnnie) Moss, brother Jewel (Laura) Richmond, brother-in-law, Fidel; his girlfriend, Anne; and special friend, Carmen; 14 grandchildren and one great grandson. Testimonials

March 13, 2025

Thank you so very much for the exemplary care that you provided for both our mom and dad. Your family is extremely kind and exudes much empathy towards others. You and your staff display much professionalism with great talent and attention to detail. Mom and dad were always very particular in their appearance. Mom would say, You are leaving a lasting impression of yourself with someone to remember you by. Your parents taught you boys well; be very proud of that! Love on them, as death is so very permanent.

Holly and I are officially orphans now. It is people like your family and David Huck being there for us, that bring comfort when you are going through one of the most difficult challenges life throws at you.

I thank God every day for our Ostergaard family and will always cherish the memories.

Love you,

Jody Burlingame Wagner
