
Helen “Mae” Nolen

March 6, 1930 – May 10, 2020
Mae Nolen, age 90 of Kenosha passed away peacefully on Mother’s Day, May 10, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on March 6, 1930 in Kenosha she was a daughter of the late Albert and Marie (nee: Jansen) Terrien.
Mae was a graduate of Kenosha High School.
On August 5, 1950 in St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, she was united in marriage to James “Jim” Nolen. They would have celebrated their 70th anniversary this August.
“Mae” was a longtime member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and was a member of the Kenosha Lioness Club.
Mae Nolen treasured her growing family in every way. From Baptisms and weddings to holiday gatherings and picnics, she had strength, elegance, and grace. She was dearly loved and will be missed.
Survivors include her husband Jim; her children, Russ (Deb) Nolen, Terry (Carl) Vrba, and Janice (Don) Koehne all of Kenosha. She will be sadly missed by her eight grandchildren: her six great grandchildren, and a great -great grandson.
Along with her parents Mae was preceded in death by a daughter Linda Spencer, a great granddaughter Mary Spencer and her siblings, Rose Fonk,Ethel Ours, and Al Terrien
Funeral services for “Mae” will be held privately. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Mary Catholic Church. Private interment will take place in St. James Cemetery. All are welcome to watch the live streaming by clicking on the link https://youtu.be/05p2oyL7chw

So sorry to hear of Mae’s passing. I worked with her at Kenosha National bank many years ago. She was a wonderful friend then and always a great coworker with a big smile. Lovely lady. Also worked with her daughter at American State Bank.
