Service Details

A prayer service celebrating Adela’s life will be held on Sunday, December 17, 2017, 2:00pm, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory, 4600 County Line Road, with Deacon Roberto Fuentes officiating.  Visitation will be held from 12:00pm-2:00pm.  Private burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Caledonia.

Racine – Adela Mandujano was called to heaven on December 10, 2017, at the age of 83. Adela was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, on December 16, 1933, daughter of the late Enrique and Ignacia (née: Zamarron) Medina.  She was united in marriage to Rosario Mandujano on September 15, 1957, in Monterrey, Mexico.

She was a faithful wife and a devoted and loving mother to her family. She enjoyed crocheting, shopping, cooking her wonderful meals, and dancing up a storm with her husband. She never missed an episode of her novelas that she enjoyed watching in the company of her faithful companion of 14 years, her beloved cat Bibi.

She will be dearly missed by her husband, Rosario Mandujano; her children, Roger (Ilene) Mandujano of Racine, Edith (Paul) Calem of Philadelphia, John (Sandee) Mandujano of Racine, Laura Mandujano of Chicago, and Leonardo Mandujano of Eagle River; her grandchildren, Roger, Esmeralda, April, Andrew; sister, Lucia Saldivar of Monterrey, Mexico; nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three brothers, Apolonio, Santiago, and Marcos Zamarron.
