
Mount Pleasant – Albert Calbow, Jr.; age 77; passed away at Burlington Rehabilitation & Care Center on Saturday, June 20, 2015.
Albert was born in North Chicago, Illinois on August 1, 1937 to the late Albert Calbow, Sr. and Verdell (nee: Kamp) Calbow. He faithfully served our Country with the United States Army. Albert was united in marriage with Priscilla “Pat” (nee: Wolgat) Calbow on December 9, 1969.
Al retired as a millwright from Patrick Cudahy. Some of his interests included cooking, country music, the great-outdoors…especially Northern Wisconsin and was one heck of a good storyteller.
Surviving are his daughter, Deborah (Ernie) DeLao; son, Kevin (Christine Ayers) Calbow; grandchildren, Chelsea Gruhn, Anthony DeLao, Jordan and Arianna Calbow; other special relatives and friends. Al was preceded in death by his parents, Albert M. and Verdell Calbow, Sr.; beloved wife, Pat (passed away December 31, 2006); and by Pat’s parents, John and Henrietta (nee: Koltyn) Wolgat.
Private funeral services were held on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Sturtevant. The Rev. Mark R. Jones officiated. Interment, with military honors, followed in West Lawn Memorial Park.
