
MOUNT PLEASANT – Mrs. Annes Mae Weber, 97, passed away at Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington on Monday, March 30, 2015.
She was born in Madison, SD on November 15, 1917, the daughter of Henry and Lina (nee: Dixon) Steinberg.
Mrs. Weber was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she enjoyed working and volunteering. She was a fabulous baker and cook and enjoyed baking banana bread for family and friends She was also fond of gardening and canning all her vegetables. She had a long, full life but will be dearly missed by those that knew and loved her.
She is survived by her children, Judy (Ken) Damaschke, Sonja (Joe) Peterchak both of Racine, Simone (Ron) Lembcke of South Dakota, James Weber of Avoca, WI and Dale (Karen) Weber of Racine; her grandchildren, Ken (JoAnne) Damaschke, Jr., Kathleen (fiancé, George Frank) Damaschke, Joseph (Jeannie) Peterchak, III, Renee (Jeff) Brnak, Lauri (Peter Tjaden) Gatto, Lisa (Dean) Hutson, Teri (Steve) Schildhauer, Toni Lembcke, Traci (Shawn) Swanson, Stephanie (Tony) Chirigotis, Bradley (Dani) Weber, Elizabeth Weber; her 27 great grandchildren; her brother, Wayne (Caroline) Steinberg of Casper, WY; sister-in-law, Beulah Steinberg; as well as many dear nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Morris Jensen, Allan Weber and her siblings, Bill Steinberg, Dale (Dorothy) Steinberg, Kenneth (Delcey) Steinberg and Jack Steinberg.
Family and friends are invited to meet at Trinity Lutheran Church (2065 Geneva Street) on Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm for a visitation time to meet with her family. A memorial service celebrating and remembering her life will follow at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Stephen Jennings officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to Trinity Lutheran School.
Mrs. Weber’s family sincerely thanks the entire staff at the Wisconsin Veterans Home – Boland Hall for the exceptional attention she received while under their care.
