To Stoney’s family:
I never got a chance to meet Stoney personally, but my fiance Ronnie (Hicks) speaks very fondly of him, and now misses Stoney so much. So I know Stoney touched Ronnie in a special way, and I am thankful for that.
Sometimes God takes His own back sooner than we’d like. However, I hope you will find comfort in the knowledge that no one treats us better than God, and He truly loves us best.
Peace to you,
Karen Jacobs
Ronnie Hicks says
Words can not express the empty feeling that I have in my heart today. Stoney was more than a friend to me, he was my brother. A brother that I never had. Over that years as we both moved on with our lives, we did not talk as much due to the many miles that separated us, but when we did have a chance to speak with one another it always seemed as if it were yesterday. I will always remember you Stoney. You will always remain in my memory, and when I think of you I will remember the good times that we shared.
Your brother and friend always
Ronnie Hicks
